Can I put whipping cream in a freezer?

My whipping cream curdled, I scooped some and tasted it and it is still good. Can I still use it? The expire date is another 5 months. Can I put whipping cream in a freezer?
Yes , you can put it into the freezer and then use it but in limited ways.

Try adding it to a curry sauce (eg.butter chicken) or to a marinade or into a pasta dish (eg.pasta Alfredo or even a simple mac and cheese.)

No one will ever know!

Just don't use it in a desert or as a topping .Can I put whipping cream in a freezer?
Freeze it - no problem.

You can use it in soups and sauces, but don't expect it to whip after freezing.
What on earth kind of whipping cream lasts 5 months. Certainly not the kind in the carton you buy at the supermarket. The expiry on that is maybe 2 weeks.
Are you sure it curdled? Or did some of the fat in the cream just congeal toward the top of your carton? It may have done that if your refrigerator is especially cold. If it was truly curdled it wouldn't taste right or smell right.

And everyone that advised you to freeze and use it in recipes is correct....it won't whip up after freezing it. But check out the true status of it now.
You can freeze whipped cream to preserve it but if it curdled i would just throw it out because it is bad. It probably just got to warm.
