Can i substitute evaporated milk mixed with cream cheese for whipped cream?

I need whipping cream, but the round trip is 21 miles. Can i mix evaoporated milk and cream cheese or 2% milk and cream cheese to get whipping cream? I'm trying to make a Key Lime pie.Can i substitute evaporated milk mixed with cream cheese for whipped cream?
Place your evaporated milk in the freezer until its super cold and then beat at high speed with an electric mixer. Add sugar and vanilla. You won't get the consistency of heavy whipping cream, but you should get a resonable result. Can i substitute evaporated milk mixed with cream cheese for whipped cream?
if you try it try a little baking powder for the raiseing ---do not know if mixing the three would work but i'd diffantly use the baking powder with it --taste the lime pie see if you need extra sugar with the baking powder for the raiseing do not use no more then a pinch of powder tho.no more then 1/4 th because you do not want it bitter just raise
Authentic Key Lime Pie

1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk

3 egg yolks

1/2 cup Key Lime Juice

1 9-inch baked pie shell

Whisk the egg yolks into the condensed milk. Add the lime juice little by little, stirring until mixture starts to thicken. Scrape into the pie shell and let it chill and set up.

Some people make meringue with the remaining whites and dress the top of the pie. Some people prefer it with whipped cream or whipped topping, definitely a later invention.

try this one my fav recipe
That definitely won't give you whipped creme, but if you mix it with evap. milk and about 1/2 cup sugar, maybe your pie will still turn out okay...
I don't reccommend it...sry.
