Is it okay to use whipped cream cheese for cream cheese frosting?

I need to make cream cheese frosting but all I have is the whipped kind. Will that work? Also if you have a good recipe for frosting, that would be awesome. Thanks! Is it okay to use whipped cream cheese for cream cheese frosting?
You will be fine -

Whipped cream cheese or butter is meant to be lighter. You will usually use a lesser amount because of the air whipped into it, thus making it lower in fat and calories - not by much, but slightly. Your frosting will still come out nice and rich, but may be more ';airy';. Now, if you have a low fat or no fat cream cheese, the consistency may be altered.

Great recipe for frosting:

We make cream cheese frosting in 90 pound batches at work.

Cream butter, cream cheese vanilla and powdered sugar and a little milk together til creamy. Your going to whip the cream cheese anyway so it won't make a bit of difference than non-whipped cream cheese.
It should be okay. Do a small test patch.
