Well my doctor didn't do a great job clarifying if we are suppose to put the cream on everyday or not. So yesterday was my first day putting Permethrin Cream on and just now i put some on is that okay? Am i suppose to do that because i just checked and your suppose not to but some sites said it should be applied twice a day. HELPScabies: Permethrin Cream SOS!!!!?
Dermatologists in my area have you put the cream on just once overnight and then a week later you do it again. When it is put on it should be on for 8-12 hours and be sure to get it under the finger nails and also on bottom of feet too. Wash everything in hot water and in a hot dryer, vacuum daily and try to stay calm. There is also a pill they use for the elderly so if it seems resistant that is an option. But you can have the rash for a few weeks longer so don't think you've been re-infested.

You poor baby I sure feel for you. Scabies are not pleasant. Twice a day is better than once believe me. Also keep all the clothes you use separate from all the rest, including your bedding. Scabies is highly contagious. You can get it back again from the clothing because the eggs don't die but wait till you put on your clothes %26amp; adhere to your skin. They like warm spots. After you complete your treatment wash all your clothing %26amp; bedding in hot water %26amp; bleach too. You can even spread it if you shake someones hands. This is nasty stuff. I'm surprised your doc didn't tell you all you needed to know about it. Been there done that. Don't want it again. ciao
