You need to ask your doctor what to use on your baby. Can i use permethrin cream on my 9 month old to get rid of scabies?
Permethrin can have serious side effects on adults much less babies as it's a poison and insecticide. The two most common side effects are rash and itch, isn't that what the problem is already?

Also, understand that just putting the cream on isn't going to take the problem away. And you will probably be told to apply it at least one more time a week or two later to kill any new scabies mites that hatched. You have to treat your home, car, workplace and anywhere you have been as well to prevention scabies reinfestation.

More people are using natural scabies treatments now because there are no side effects and you actually get quicker results.
uh doesn't your dr know you have a baby ? did your dr also tell you that you need to boil and or dry clean all your clothes and bedding . go back to your dr and also web search scabbies for helpful info. if you just treat the humans in the household you will be reinfested by the eggs it takes several weeks or more to break the cycle. almost everyone comes in contact with scabbies on a day to day basis. they are hard to get rid of...good luck
I wouldn't do that. Call and ask the doctor. You might poison the baby.
