Can i use whipping cream instead of heavy cream to make my ganache?

will the taste differ or will it be the same all throughout? Can i use whipping cream instead of heavy cream to make my ganache?
No. Whipping cream (the liquid kind) is lower in fat than heavy cream (30% vs 40% respectively). You can still use it, but you might end up with a more watery ganache. Can i use whipping cream instead of heavy cream to make my ganache?

Heavy cream is whipping cream. Same thing.

It will work, I believe the only difference is the fat content.
