Can you use heavy whipping cream in place of heavy cream in a recipe?

I have a recipe that calls for heavy cream, the only thing that I have is heavy whippping cream. Is this ok to use?Can you use heavy whipping cream in place of heavy cream in a recipe?
Yes you can use your heavy whipping cream. Heavy whipping cream and heavy cream are the same thing..... now why they have to label things to confuse us... i will never know LOLCan you use heavy whipping cream in place of heavy cream in a recipe?
They are pretty much the same thing. Just make sure you don't buy ';lite'; or ';light'; whipping cream.
It's the same thing.
You could, but be very careful not to deflate the whipped cream. I would whip the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until it's as light as possible. Then fold in a portion of the whipped cream to lighten it some more before gently folding in the rest of the cream.

Keep in mind real whipped cream is not sweetened as Cool Whip is, so if you like your mixture sweet, you may want to increase the powdered sugar.
It seems to me like they are the same thing. I really depends on what you're making, though.
