Does shaving cream take the paint off of vehicles?

I'm planning a prank, but I don't want to harm any property. I need to know if shaving cream will harm a vehicle in any way.Does shaving cream take the paint off of vehicles?
Shaving cream can be washed off easily. for your prank to be more effective, use something like nivea cream. it's really greasy and hard to come off. someone had done it to our teacher (happy times), they'd put lots of blobs of nivea cream (could be any other greasy cream=as in moisturizer) all over the car and then put little balls of coloured cotton wool on each of them. looked great, but you should have heard him swear...Does shaving cream take the paint off of vehicles?
YES!!! It doesn't take it off, but it lightens it if it gets any kind of sun. I had to repaint my sister's car after her wedding, it was expensive. Stick to the windows or think of another prank.
no there is no kinda acid chemical in it
If it was strong enough to remove paint of a car, I would be seriously worried about using it to shave...
corse not...but well done for asking first...
It wont take the paint off but it will stain the surface enough to the point that the prank will cost you in the long run.
