How do they cut cream slices without all the cream coming out?

They must make one slab of cake and then some how cut them? Its hard enough to eat them let alone cut them. How do they cut cream slices without all the cream coming out?
It has to be chilled first to somewhat solidify the cream, and then sliced upright using a very sharp knife. Most of us half a drawer full of crap knifes that couldn't saw a tomato if it's life depended on it. A properly sharpened knife could slice clean through a loaf of fresh bread without even flattening it.How do they cut cream slices without all the cream coming out?
i wudnt know tom..i'm a dunker not a cutter!! xx
hi

chill slice in fridge then place on its long side and cut slowly with a Sharp knife ,PS do not hold slice to firmly
keep the knife upright as you cut, wish I cud eat a cream cake sigh!!
I think maybe they freeze them or nearly freeze them. Or maybe they score the top %26amp; bottom before they put the layers together so it's easier to cut.
how do you know its one big slab?
thats a good one its magic
nvr heard of that
sharpe knife is a must but make it chilled and use a hot knife and just slice through it but the slab has to be chilled cold
use whipped cream...
I work in a cream cake shop and I don't think they make one big slab. I think they make big slabs of pastry and cut them up into the slices before adding the cream. I hope that helps answer your question! :)
A very sharp type of bread knife and saw it slowly...
