Is heavy cream runny like milk or is it to thick to pour out of a can?

i've seen two different types of cream, the thick one that doesn't pour (you need to literally use a spoon to take it out, or the one that is more liquidy, close to milk...which 1 is best for alfredo sauce? Is heavy cream runny like milk or is it to thick to pour out of a can?
Heavy cream is runny like milk but fuller in body. the thick one is called all purpose cream. heavy cream is tastier. but you can substitute both.Is heavy cream runny like milk or is it to thick to pour out of a can?
The thick clotted type cream is best for using on scones and other desserts.

Thick, but still pouring is best to use for alfredo sauce.

the stuff you need a spoon for was probably sour cream. regular cream, both heavy and whipping, is liquid, but a bit heavier than milk.
I know what your talking about. it's whipped cream in a CAN Redi Whip:

Real cream comes in the dairy section right by the regular milk usually in a carton..It is just a tad thicker than milk. more light and airy though.

Evaporated milk is the one in the can. It is basically concentrated milk, rich and dense.
