ice cream soda...the ice cream is put in the glass first, then soda is poured over...not necessarily just cream, it could be any flavor soda (rootbeer, cream, orange, etc)

Ice cream float -Ice cream,Milk and toppings syrups ect.
Ice cream Soda Is made with coke Or root beer
Best combo to me is vanilla with Coke
Chocolate with root beer
ice cream float: ice cream floting on top of soda
cream soda: cream flavored soda
they both sound great, yummmm
the ice cream floats on the top of the float.. and with the soda.. it's sorta mixed in.. or that's been my experience anyway...
